What is a "life to the full" supposed to look like?  If God promises that kind of life for a man, how can he move in that direction if he really doesn't know fully what that guy is supposed to be like?

Imagine a retreat that is:

foundational, practical, and leans more toward a workshop on becoming a man fully alive rather than just preaching about it.

In this experience, that comes to you and your church, four challenges lead men in one simple direction – if God truly has a vision for me for a life to the full, here are four strategies toward that fully alive man.

A MAN FULLY ALIVE IS:

A. A man FULLY AWARE that he was born into a war he did not choose.

B. A man FULLY ENGAGED to accept his role in this war for his life, his family, his future.

C. A man FULLY SURRENDERED to himself and to the Holy Spirit’s guidance.

D. A man FULLY EQUIPPED to lead and to follow.

As you can see by the material on this page, the retreat A MAN FULLY ALIVE is not a preaching retreat.  Instead, it is a very interactive, very engaging experience for guys where they are invited to participate, to invest in the men around their tables, and encouraged to make major decisions about 4 profound areas of the life of a man.

The four topics on these four sessions address directly the following areas in the life of a man in this century:

• Living clueless about the world around him, unaware of the battle for his life and the life of his family.  Perspective is such a powerful tool, and our first session offers a man just that in terms of what’s happening spiritually around him.

• We often hear the phrase “men ought to step up to the plate.”  In my opinion, most men don’t even know what the plate actually is, or where it is located.  The second challenge helps men identify exactly what’s expected of a spiritual leader in any setting, and offers the question, “Is that even the man you desire to be?”  We can’t talk about that kind of man until we all agree that’s exactly who we desire to become, a man accepting the leadership role in a family, in his own life, and engaging  himself in the war for his life both on earth and a life headed toward heaven.

• Of all the sins and derailments in the life of a man, based on scripture, they are all the result of one element in our society that often flies under the radar, but nonetheless is the root cause of the spiritual death of most men in our society – pride.  Surrendering must occur before we then challenge me toward anything new effort, any new commitment or teaching.  This is a very powerful experience for those in attendance, where they are challenged to sign a TREATY OF SURRENDER, acknowledging and relinquishing areas of their life that must be surrendered if they are ever to become a man fully alive.

• This is the action session.  The previous (3) sessions will serve as reflection and perspective.  The final challenge moves men into action, making commitments on just how they will equip their spiritual life to live as a man fully alive. 

Each of the (4) sessions requires a 5-10 minute testimony from (4) of those in your state who will be in attendance. The testimonies will be fashioned along the lines of each theme.  This puts flesh on every topic, and teaches the guys the power of sharing their life with others.
